Conclusion

While outlining the sites, it was decided that the most important aspect of this snail farm would be accessibility and recreation. As a result each site does not solely focus on the creation of agricultural ranch for the snails. Instead, a focus is placed on equalizing the ranch in importance with other site amenities such as stormwater management projects to protect the local water features and recreational fields to allow for general use. This would allow for visitors to learn about their local watersheds alongside the snail farming practice. In addition, the open active fields would allow for continual usage of the site and potentially make the snail farm a key stone in the community landscape fabric.
