I haven&#8217;t done anything relating to biology since my freshman year of high school, so it is nice to experience something different from what I&#8217;m used to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What would you most like to get out of taking this course?\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m really excited to talk about to social implications of how humans impact our environment. I think one of the most interesting anomalies in nature is our ability to shape the world around that, and I think I would enjoy discussing our responsibilities surrounding that.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a student, what further information would you ask to find out about antibiotics in the soil or composting?\n<ul>\n<li>I would like to know what I can do to try to prevent this from spreading and becoming a bigger problem than it has to be.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thinking about your fellow students, what issues do you think would appeal most to them about these issues?\n<ul>\n<li>I think prevention might also appeal to them in the same way that it does to me.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What are some examples of things you might learn relative to civic engagement by helping with this service learning\n<ul>\n<li>It will be interesting to see which parts of Athens suffer from antibiotic resistant bacteria, if other cities suffer in similar areas, and the various ways this can be reduced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Describe your previous experience with science: Most of the science classes which I&#8217;ve taken have been physics based.
