I was very curious if it was more of a garden or more of a farm. After reading through the UGarden site, I now know that it&#8217;s a little bit of both. It&#8217;s very much a place for students to not only grow organically, but it also encourages experimentation.<\/p>\n<p>I was very touched by their mission statement because they not only plan to learn to grow organically and sustainably, but they also help those who can&#8217;t get fresh produce through UGA&#8217;s very own Campus Kitchen organization. In addition, some produce goes to local schools for sampling in the cafeterias.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s extremely refreshing to see students take initiative and preserve\/work on this garden.
