One 15 to 20 minute presentation situating a novel within its particular critical context. You will develop this presentation into a short essay (5 to 7 pages) that moves towards your own analysis of the text in question.
A critical essay, developed over a series of smaller assignments, including an in-class writing workshop at the very end of the semester.
