The course schedule indicates which material is due on a given day; it does, however, provide only a general plan for the course. Deviations may be necessary. Whenever possible I will announce changes on the class listserv. You are responsible for frequently checking for such announcements. I know that many of you will not want to read critical introductions before reading the texts, but I will expect you to read them at some point. The introductory and supplementary material in these texts will be particularly useful when working on your narrative assignments.
