  1. Byron’s Don Juan is written in ottava rima stanzas. After defining the ottava rima stanza, discuss the ways in which Byron utilizes this form to make his point. Choose 1 or 2 pieces of textual evidence to support your assertions.
  2. “To Wordsworth” is an experimental sonnet. Note the rhyme scheme of this sonnet and note its significance to the meaning of the poem.
  3. Briefly characterize each poet’s response to Wordsworth as a poetic forerunner. Support your response with specific textual evidence.
