This collection is designed to offer insight into various angles of modern education. As the editors, it is our hope that readers will browse our collection and come out with newfound discoveries. What makes the collection so unique is its inclusion of four very different (but connected) educational topics. Topics in the collection include workplace preparation in schools, the incorporation of guided notes into inclusive (including special education students) classrooms, genre development within Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, and the natural influence of art on our emotions. At first glance, these topics seem unrelated; yet, all four topics represent different, future-oriented approaches to education. As representatives of the “Humanities and Education” section of our class, we hope to display the versatility of education and showcase how we can advance our education in more ways than just the traditional approach to learning.
