To develop and design our collection we tried to stick to our main theme of analysis. We worked together to write the editors introduction to explain the purpose of each of our papers.
Design of the overall layout of the website was also chosen as a group.
However, for the page with our individual essay we added our own pictures and formatting. Our media choices reflect the overall topics of each paper. The video included in The Riley vs. California page serves to be an overview of the essay if readers want to just hear a glimpse of what the case is about.
We wanted to create a page that looked formal and easy to navigate to a wide variety of audiences. We didn’t want to overcrowd the page with a lot of pictures, but included a few to make the page be appealing.
The menus at the top are our table of contents by clicking on each topic it transitions to another page.
The project statement provides a way for readers to understand how we reached our analysis and conclusions in each essay.
