The purpose of our collaborative collection project “Meta Inquisition” is based around research in legislation, court case, and behavioral psychology. Law and psychology are two fields that are constantly changing based on how society evolves. In 1787 when the Constitution and experiments were first being created our world was a very different place. In the past decade peoples values and way of life have changed drastically. We need to keep up with these changes in order to be a more successful and productive society. In any type of government it is imperative that the law be adaptable to change. In psychology experiments need to be highly reliable and be able to learn from previous mistakes in the field. We though it was very important to analyze these changes and what their future implications will be to help give our readers a better understanding of our rapidly growing society. A major aspect of strong analysis is using critical thinking skills we utilized these by questioning and evaluating the information we found. Our project clearly states the different judgements, comparisons, and inferences that were concluded from various forms of research. One of our main goals of this project was to look at the big picture and context of each topic to figure out why each situation happened the way it did. Overall, we hope you gain a deeper understanding of law/psychology by browsing through our project to see the implications of how our world is changing.
