I would post rumor D (A local bank is about to close, and its accounts will be frozen) right this minute, as it is the most urgent. People who have accounts with this bank will be highly affected in a more meaningful manner than a star quarterback being unable to play or a cheating scandal. A bank closure is an actual fiscal crisis that needs immediate coverage so that your audience can take action.

I would hold B. (A mayor is reported to be having an affair with his secretary) as it is not yet confirmed and would be a significant accusation to post if there is no substantial proof yet. It is the most speculative out of the rumors. I would hold it until there is more solid evidence or an admission from the mayor, his office, or a mistress.
