“I would say I’m a pro at watching football”, Maddie James said. At Highland Park High School, football was one of the main sports that everyone was crazy about since Matthew Stafford, a former UGA football alumni, attended the school.
James’ was a dancer for her high school team, and with that came a better understanding of football since the field under the lights was where most of her time was spent on Friday nights.
Being the dedicated pro football watcher, James would make rosters of the starting and second string line up, so that all of the students were able to know the names of the players. “I made copies and posted them around the school”, James said. It was important to her to allow the football team to know that the school had their support every Friday night against opposing teams.
