The PACE Lab, in partnership with UGA Marine Extension, will be translating a first aid and safety program designed for Pacific Northwest fishermen into a training for shrimp and crab fishermen in Georgia. Funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, this project will employ a community-based participatory approach to prevent injuries and improve health outcomes for Georgia’s fishermen.
