I am an undergraduate Honors student at the University of Georgia majoring in Journalism and Political Science on the pre-law track, and minoring in Law, Jurisprudence and the State. I am also pursuing a certificate in Public Affairs Communications. I seek to use my reporting skills and access to resources to advocate for marginalized communities. I am interested in the intersection of journalism and the law, and I look for experiences where these passions overlap.
As a student within the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, I have learned to seek diverse viewpoints in all of the stories I create and learn how to put together a variety of multimedia elements (video, audio, data visualization) to tell a story.
I will take what I have learned through the different experiences during my undergraduate journey and apply them to my role in CNN’s News Associates Program.
