Visual Storytelling

During Spring 2024, I took Introduction to Photojournalism (JOUR 3330). In this course, I learned how to do basic photography within the construct of photojournalism, focusing heavily on the technical aspects of creating an image. This included controlling focus, exposure, composition, captioning, and digital preparation. The culmination of this course was creating a final multimedia presentation combining all aspects of photojournalism and storytelling to create a video highlighting someone in the Athens community.
