It is hot.<\/p>\n<p>Collins decides to pick up his dirt.<\/p>\n<p>Soldiers showed up to the grave Collins dug. They have guns.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of people lined the streets for the funeral procession, led by Collins Sr.<\/p>\n<p>It took a while, but the procession gets to the cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>The casket was specially made for soldiers. People packed around the tomb.<\/p>\n<p>There was a prayer, some bagpipes and some songs.<\/p>\n<p>Seven guns go off in unison.<\/p>\n<p>An authentic bugler plays.<\/p>\n<p>The bugler plays notes that are good.<\/p>\n<p>The bugler contemplates emotion.<\/p>\n<p>Folding the flag is emotionally tough.<\/p>\n<p>Soldier had kids.<\/p>\n<p>Folding flag got emotional.<\/p>\n<p>Flag has shells inside.<\/p>\n<p>Flag is passed.<\/p>\n<p>Brigadier General Belinda Pinckney is randomly assigned officer at funeral. She remembers bits and pieces from every funeral.<\/p>\n<p>Pinckney told soldier&#8217;s wife, Missie, it is ok to cry.<\/p>\n<p>Pinckney drops to Missie&#8217;s knees.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral&#8217;s are very emotional and Pinckney makes failed attempt at not humanizing tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>Flag folding is ideal for being held to widow&#8217;s chest.<\/p>\n<p>Missie is presented flag.<\/p>\n<p>Service is over and people go their separate ways.<\/p>\n<p>Sod is placed over burial and temporary tombstone is added.<\/p>\n<p>SGT. JOE MONTGOMERY 1977\u20132007<\/p>\n<p>Gail Bond remembers when Montgomery was baptized at her church.<\/p>\n<p>Gail smokes and has two black leather bags to hold cigarettes and lighter. Hasn&#8217;t quit for a reason.<\/p>\n<p>Gail is Joey&#8217;s mom and has experienced a lot of heartbreak.<\/p>\n<p>All family is in attendance and church is overflowing.<\/p>\n<p>Not many people in attendance ACTUALLY knew Joey.<\/p>\n<p>You can and cant tell a lot of things about Joey by looking around at funeral.<\/p>\n<p>Joey&#8217;s body was escorted from airport to home.<\/p>\n<p>There was a 3 mile long procession.<\/p>\n<p>The Patriot Guard protected family from Westboro Baptist haters.<\/p>\n<p>Micah Montgomery has death paperwork and medals for Missie.<\/p>\n<p>Gail&#8217;s brother is mayor and drove a car in the procession while crying.<\/p>\n<p>Vicki says its tough to see people emotional. Mechanic stands out.<\/p>\n<p>Joey used to be a mechanic.<\/p>\n<p>Joey was going to be best man in his best friend Joey&#8217;s wedding.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan and Joey were different in high school.<\/p>\n<p>Joey and Ryan helped each other out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hi so I know this isn&#8217;t complete but I&#8217;ve been working on it for a while now and honestly, would just love to read and enjoy the story.
