{"id":809,"date":"2016-09-26T22:38:04","date_gmt":"2016-09-27T02:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ctlsites.uga.edu\/sportsenterprise\/?p=809"},"modified":"2016-09-26T22:38:04","modified_gmt":"2016-09-27T02:38:04","slug":"efficient-drives-lead-to-wins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ctlsites.uga.edu\/sportsenterprise\/efficient-drives-lead-to-wins\/","title":{"rendered":"Efficient Drives lead to wins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter how much you drive to the basket if you can&#8217;t score.<\/p>\n<p>Through this research I found that the best teams in the NBA last season were actually on the bottom half of the league leaders in drives to the basket per game. The difference in what got them to a championship though was not only to finish at the rim, but also find an open man and score some sort of fashion.<\/p>\n<p>Golden State only averaged\u00a019.9 drives to the basket per game \u2014 the second lowest amount long the 30 NBA teams, but was the highest in efficiency, scoring a point on nearly 75 percent of its drives.
