If you would like to export your site or content for use in another WordPress site,  follow these steps:

1. Log into your site.

2. On the Dashboard, click Tools –> Export

3. Choose “Export all content” to export your entire site. (If you want to just export your own content on a class site, you would choose just posts or pages.

4. Click “Download Export File”.

5. The export file will be in XML format. This file can be uploaded into any WordPress site to populate the site with your content.
