My name is Asa Smith and I am a Real Estate major with certificates in Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. I have been drawn to the outdoors my entire life and have always had a deep connection with nature. After taking large business classes for the first few years of college, I felt like I had become removed from that connection and wanted more from my education. Upon discovering the sustainability certificate program, I realized that it is the perfect avenue to unify my passion for the environment with my interest in the business world. Taking Forestry, Geography, and Biology classes for the Sustainability program while completing Real Estate, Finance, and Entrepreneurship courses in Terry truly provided a multidisciplinary approach to my college experience and will continue to serve me well going forth in the Real Estate industry.
