Lauren V. Girod is an award winning film director, poet, and author in their final year of undergrad at the University of Georgia, where they are pursuing a degree in English Creative Writing.
Their film, “Summer Vacation Ready” won the Jury Winner prize at Campus Movie Festival in 2019. Their work has previously appeared in Stillpoint, Outrageous Fortune, and is pending publication with Hindsight Literary Journal.
When they aren’t writing, they can be found drinking cheap espresso and cuddling with their cat, Mr. Pumpkin. Lauren’s favorite type of cheese is Aldi’s Select Brand of Brie, and believes it to pair well with crackers and a Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
