I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in journalism, along with a Sports Media Certificate and a minor in Spanish, and I have a strong interest in social media and sports communications.
Through the Carmical Sports Media Institute and Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication, I gained hands-on experience pitching, reporting and producing both written and video content in newsroom settings, while also creating daily Instagram content for high school soccer teams by covering games and engaging with athletes, coaches and the community to identify storylines. I also served as a mentor for student reporters, helping them develop story ideas, strengthen reporting techniques and become more familiar with AP style writing.
I grew up playing and watching soccer, and my long-term goal is to work for a professional soccer organization.
