I am a fourth-year journalism major at the University of Georgia, pursuing a Sports Media Certificate and a Spanish minor, with a strong interest in social media and sports communications.
Through the Carmical Sports Media Institute and Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication, I have gained hands-on experience pitching, reporting and producing both written and video content in newsroom settings, as well as creating daily Instagram content for high school soccer teams by covering games and engaging with athletes, coaches and the community to identify storylines. I have also served as a mentor for student reporters, helping them develop story ideas, learn reporting techniques and gain familiarity writing in AP style.
I grew up playing and watching soccer, and my goal is to work for a professional soccer organization. I remain active in the sport by playing intramural soccer and closely following European soccer leagues.
I also completed a six-week Spanish language immersion program in Sevilla, Spain, and would love to engage with the growing Spanish-speaking soccer community in the United States.
