About

I am a student at the University of Georgia from Denver, Colorado. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in journalism at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and a certificate in music business through the Terry College of Business. I expect to graduate in May of 2026. 

My interest in journalism began in high school, where I worked as a reporter and later served as the editor-in-chief of my school’s paper. In that role, I led a team of reporters while overseeing and managing the full editorial process, from pitching and interviewing to editing and publication.  

At UGA, I have continued to develop my reporting skills with a focus on the music industry. Through my coursework and hands-on experience, I have covered the Athens music scene from performance venues to bands to guitar repair stores.

I have also gained music industry experience through internships with booking agencies, vinyl pressing plants, artist management firms and live event planning.

As a journalism student at Grady, I am committed to accurate, ethical storytelling. My goal is to produce work that is engaging and credible, while bridging my interests in music and journalism.
