The Bulldogs had a dominant first round of playoffs against Calvary Day coming out with a win to advance both teams to the second round of playoffs.
The girls’ team continues their winning streak and hopeful chances of winning the state playoffs. Number two singles, Amelia Glass swept the court with a win of 6/1; 6/1. Number one doubles team Mallory Martin and Erin Gresham defeated their opponents 6/2; 6/3. The number two doubles team Katie Davis and Addy Christian topped it off for the dogs with a win of 6/2; 6/4.
The boys will be kicked off the second round of playoffs strong with a win against Thomasville to secure their spot in the Elite 8. Number one singles Jackson Kirby won 0/1. Number two singles Gustave Cassange swept the court with a win of 6/4; 6/4, along with number three singles Tommy Arthur winning 6/3; 6/1. The number one doubles team Zack Farese and Leyton Hull won 6/2;6/4. The second doubles team Charlie Martin and Wes Coody dominated 6/2; 6/3.
The Lady Dogs will be facing Crisp County on Tuesday at 5 p.m. to try and clinch their way into the third round of playoffs. The boys will play the winner of the Lumpkin County vs, Brenan County match.
