Ethan Wright

My name is Ethan Wright, a multimedia journalist from Marietta, Georgia. I’m graduating from the Grady College of the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism with a minor in Communication Studies. My ultimate dream is to become a prominent figure in broadcast journalism, documentary producing and authoring.

During my free time, one might catch me writing sketch comedy, producing music, or trying out new jokes in front of live audiences as I continue to hone my craft in stand-up comedy. However, I am also heavily invested in advocating for diversity, equity, civil and human rights, and I strive to use my passion for journalism to highlight these issues.

Something unique about me is that I tend to see the world in sounds, scenes, and analogies. As an avid reader, I view words as a powerful tool, akin to a sword that can slice through any communication barrier with enough sharpening. I think these two qualities are what have supported my passion for storytelling, especially in news.

Through my work as a multimedia journalist, I aim to inspire, inform and entertain audiences while leaving a positive impact on the world.
