The Legend of Hillary
Hillary Clinton, who we all know is the Democratic Presidential Nominee has a very strong stance on racial injustice. Clinton has track record with politics beginning in 1993 where she served as the First Lady of the United States to President Bill Clinton. Clinton finished up as First Lady in 2001, and went on to serve as a U.S. Senator representing New York from 2001-2009. At the end of her stint as a senator she announced she would run for President in the 2008 election. After conceding the nomination she was appointed to Secretary of State by President Obama where she held that position until becoming the first woman to represent a major political party as the Presidential Nominee.
The Seasoned Veteran
Hillary Clinton has been involved with politics for over 25 years, starting with her stint as First Lady and currently as the Presidential Nominee of The Democratic Party. So what comes with all this experience and time spent in and around politics?
A track record comes from all the time spent. When it comes to Racial Justice, she has been fighting for Racial Justice her entire career! Clinton started fighting against the injustice as a young lawyer when she investigated the segregation of schools in Alabama. Clinton has done it all, so what does this mean? I believe it gives her the upper hand in the voters eyes. Clinton has not only the ethos but the pathos as well. Clinton’s pathos on Racial Justice is going to attract many voters because of the fact she has fought and promises to continue to fight for the people! The voters who these racial injustices directly affect will have an emotional connection to Clinton, thus will be the first to vote for someone who will do everything they can to make a change. Clinton is at a huge advantage because of the ethos and pathos she has established in her career as a political figure.
