In the modern day, Open AI has been on the rise. It is being used by almost everyone in the world that has access to it, and it is changing the technology game. From personal experience, Chat GPT has helped me a lot with everything, especially whenever I have no clue about something, it is there to save the day. Recently, Open AI has released “Chat GPT-4” which is basically Chat GPT on steroids.

THis semester has certainly been the “semester of AI.” It will be interested to see how this plays out over time. The question with AI is not whether it can have an impact, but its whether people can use it in such a way to derive value from it. There are some compelling examples and cases, for sure, but we have to see how its applied systematically (and if it’s ultimately trustworthy enough.).

I did not realize this much could have been changed between the two. I also did not realize that 3.0 came out in 2020. It is impressive that over just 3 years, the quality of the model has changed so drastically.
Great post! GPT4 can already do so much more than what ChatGPT was able to do. I think it will be interesting to the restrictions that are place on GPT4 in school or even the workplace in the future. I recently showed my mom GPT4 and she was mind blown at the tasks it was able to complete for her. This technology is truly something special and I am glad we are able to witness it as adults.
