The End of Digital Innovation

I just want to start off this blog post by expressing my gratitude to all those who made this class such an unforgettable experience. Thank you to Professor Kane, for his dedication and passion for teaching and for creating a fun yet educational environment for us. Thank you also to the guest speakers he brought in to share their valuable knowledge with us. And to my fellow classmates, you all made this class lots of fun and I’m grateful for the friendships that were formed.

As the semester comes to a close, I can confidently say that this digital innovation class has been the most engaging and interactive course I have ever taken here at UGA. From the moment we stepped into the classroom, it was clear that this class was designed to encourage interaction and connection among everyone. We got to go outside, learn and chat with each other on GroupMe, write blog posts, and even tweet about cool tech news. It was amazing to see how this class was set up to create a community of learners, and it definitely worked.

Out of all the components in my digital innovation class, the Twitter section was my absolute favourite. It was an exciting and interactive way to stay up-to-date on the latest tech trends and important updates from the industry. What I loved most was how it felt like a group chat among classmates, where we could all share our thoughts and opinions on various topics related to the course. Not only was it informative, but it was also fun to see classmates cracking jokes and making witty comments that related to our class material. Before taking this class, I had never used Twitter before, but now I’m addicted to it! Thanks, Prof. Kane for adding this to my list of things I’m addicted to.

Another highlight of the class was having guest speakers come in to share their knowledge and experiences. I loved listening to what they had to say because they were all college kids at one point in their lives and hearing about how they got to where they are now was very interesting and motivating for not only me but for others in the class as well. They shared valuable advice about taking risks, making connections, and pursuing your passions.

One thing that I also enjoyed was reading my fellow classmates’ blogs every week. It was fascinating to see what cool things they researched and to learn information that I probably wouldn’t have researched myself. It was amazing to see how much everyone grew over the course of the semester, and how much knowledge we gained about the digital innovation industry.

Overall, this class has pushed me to become a better version of myself, just by seeing the accomplishments of all the guest speakers and what they have been through to get where they are today. I feel inspired to take risks and pursue my passions, and I am grateful for the connections and friendships that I have made in this class. Thank you, Professor Kane, for creating such an amazing learning environment that truly encouraged innovation and creativity.

  1. I enjoyed how this class was set up to make learning fun because I never would have expected that I would be on Twitter looking at tech news. I enjoy twitter so much more now that I know it’s not all a bunch of nonsense and that I can use it as a tool to learn more about the latest tech trends or innovations. I agree with your point that this class pushed me to become a better version of myself after being surrounded by such great students and a fantastic professor in Dr. Kane. The speakers speaking about their accomplishments motivates me to hopefully someday be in that position one day.

  2. I too really found the speakers valuable as they were all in our shoes at one point or another. This really made me feel like I could achieve the things they have as well. Thanks for some great tweets that made the feed more interesting!

  3. Hey Agazi! I thought your blog title was really funny, just the thought of all digital innovation pausing while we go on summer break was entertaining. Really interesting to hear you share about Twitter, I definitely struggled with keeping up with it but hearing a differing perspective like yours on it helps shed some light and extra value on it, glad you enjoyed it!! Best of luck after graduating!!
