Come up with one argument in favor of the athletics section of this change to state open records law, i.e. how does it benefit the public?

An argument in favor of the open records law is that this allows athletic department staff members who are responsible for researching the requested information to have a lighter workload. The increase in days by 2900 percent provides these particular people with much more time to even respond to a particular request, much less find the information. In theory, this means these people can concentrate much more on their other day-to-day functions and do them at a more efficient level rather than commit a lot of time all at once when requests come their way.
