I thought it was important to include work of mine that focuses on either post-digital distribution means (in the case of Lizzie Bennet) or subjects to do with Internet fandom and interpretations (in the case of Sky High), as most of my current research is on modern forms of media. I had so much fun writing these two papers, and while I certainly have expanded the scope of what I write about, this type of media (sincere, funny, and sweet) is the kind I love the best. The Lizzie Bennet paper has more of an analytical approach, as we were framing it in the context of what that web series did well in order to create our own web series, while the Sky High paper relies more on theoretical structures and qualitative research.
